Txema García Ballester directs the architectural vision of Balzar Architects, from concept to construction detail, and leads the studio's cultural discourse.

An architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Valencia (2010), he trained in Porto with a project manager of Álvaro Siza's office.

Laura Moreno Albuixech co-directs Balzar Architects.

She leads finance and operations: the structure that allows a twenty-person studio to deliver across Spain, the Gulf and Asia.

She is also the studio's public voice, representing Balzar in lectures and in its relationships with clients and institutions.

José María García Zarco brings more than forty years of practice to Balzar Architects.

An architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Valencia (1983), specialised in urban planning, he has directed the design and construction of over one thousand homes and the planning of millions of square metres of land.

From 1995 to 2003 he served as Director General of Architecture and Housing of the Valencian Government.

He founded G-Zarco Estudio in 2003 and co-founded Balzar in 2018, where he advises on planning, regulation and delivery.
