公寓位于一栋1890年的建筑内,坐落于巴伦西亚老城 Ciutat Vella,罗马、中世纪与现代主义的城市肌理在相隔数街之间并存。它完整保留了那个时代的痕迹:Nolla 马赛克地面、锻铁件、灰泥线脚、逾百年的门扇,以及多彩彩绘的残片。这些元素受到保护。项目以它们为尺度,而非障碍——原有之物被修复并保持可见,新建之物则按其比例建造。

两种语汇,一处公寓

平面包含两种语汇。公共空间——餐厅、起居室,以及二者之间串联的房间序列——保留了原公寓的装饰:浅色石灰泥墙面、雕饰檐口,以及脚下几何图案的 Nolla 马赛克。私密空间则以深色染色橡木镶包,一道连续的镶板将墙面、门扇与收纳统合为一个安静的体量。穿行于公寓之中,便是在这两种状态之间移动:1890年的雕琢表面,与新作的沉静。

门槛是被建造出来的

两种语汇在地面相遇。在私密一翼,原始房间的 Nolla 马赛克与石材让位于以人字纹铺设的橡木;材料的转换以一道曲线收束,木材沿石材的边缘绕行,而非与之硬切。每一处由旧入新的过渡都被赋予一条精确的界线。这些过渡是被建造的,而非默认的。

材料与光

材料不多:洞石、橡木、石灰泥、亚麻、羊毛。选择它们,是因为它们承接光的方式。洞石铺陈于卫浴空间,由黄铜赋予暖意。石灰泥承载公共空间的墙面,接纳来自街道的过滤日光。深色橡木统领私密空间,光沿镶板的顶缘间接洒落,使房间在入夜后仍可在低处的光线中被栖居。色彩被排除在外。一切由质感,以及光的温度来完成。

家具作为房间的延伸

家具延续着建筑。来自 Nekonato Gallery 的古董家具,与 CLC Arte 的作品、New Works 的座椅以及 Venicem 的灯具并置;定制家具以相同的材料、相同的语汇制作,作为房间的延伸。没有任何一件与受保护的原有肌理相争。公寓被陈设的方式,正如它被建造的方式:决定不多,而每一个都被坚持。
