# Balzar Arquitectos > An author architecture practice based in Valencia, Spain. Founded in 2018 by Txema García Ballester, Laura Moreno Albuixech and José María García Zarco. Approximately 20 people. Active across Spain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, China, Bali and the broader Middle East. Balzar Arquitectos is the trading name of Balzar Proyectos SL. The studio operates as a single coherent architectural intelligence from concept to construction detail. ## Position Form as construction. Every formal decision is a constructive decision. Proportion and measure are resolved through precision, not novelty. Light is designed before surface. Material honesty is an ethical choice. Restraint is the result of removing everything that does not belong. The section is the primary design instrument.
